What are your holiday plans for 2020? Whether you have already used up most of your annual leave or are still thinking about your holiday plans, there is always room to book a short break! A 3-night holiday is the perfect length for a city break in my eyes. It gives you enough time to explore the city without losing too much time from work or home.
Go on a weekend break or explore mid-week opportunities. There are always lots of offers on with different holiday providers! These are the perfect destinations for a 3 night mini break.
Copenhagen, Denmark
With London being a short 1h50m flight from Copenhagen, this is the perfect destination for a short trip! The Danish capital offers a beautiful scenery in all seasons, from crisp cold weather in the winter to sunny, mild days in the summer. Cycle around the city as you explore the Scandanavian culture! A warning: Copenhagen is a pricey city, so if you do need some extra money you can take out a cash loan. The currency is Copenhagen is officially the kroner (DKK) and you should expect to pay in this, although some places (shops, hotels etc.) might accept Euros.
Marrakech, Morocco
Oh, I love Marrakech! In a short 3 and a half hour flight from London you feel such a culture difference, which I think is fantastic. If you are into vibrant colours and amazingly tasty food, you can’t miss out on a city trip to Marrakech! Explore the markets (souqs) and sleep in a traditional riad to get a real feel for the Moroccan culture. easyJet holidays have got fantastic packages for Marrakech.
Valencia, Spain
Valencia is a top destination for 2020! Have you heard of ‘Las Vallas’? It’s a famous international festival that takes place in Valencia from the 1st to the 19th of March. This festival is a must-see for every member of the family. With music, art, fireworks and all sorts of food, it’s a fantastic event to visit on a short break.
Galway, Ireland
Are you looking for a break a bit closer to home? Why not consider Galway, Ireland? This fantastic city deserves to get a bit more tourism and publicity! You will love Galway for its’ busy pubs with live music and entertainment. The city is buzzing with creativity: good thing it’s been chosen as 2020 European Capital of Culture!
