How to get there

The closest tube station to the Tower of London is Tower Hill, it is a 5 minute walk from there. Tower Hill is served by both the District and the Circle line and tubes go very regularly. The station has step-free access to street level. Around the station there is plenty of signage to the Tower.

Other nearby stations are: Aldgate, Aldgate East, Tower Gateway, Monument, Bank, London Bridge and Fenchurch Street. These are all approximately a 10-15 walk away.

Bus routes 15, 42, 78, 100 and RV1 all stop very nearby the Tower of London. If you have a sightseeting bus tour pass, most major tours pass by the attraction.

There is limited parking around the area as it’s in the heart of London.
