In September 2020, Marella (TUI) Cruises will host their third version of the Electric Sunset cruise. Every year this themed cruise departs to take you back to a particular decade. In 2018 the theme was 80s and in 2019 we travelled back to the 90s. In 2020 it’s time for the battle of the decades! With a 90s vs 00s theme, this cruise will bring you a musical trip to the past.

Ship
The Electric Sunset cruise takes place on the Marella Explorer 2. This beautiful ship is the perfect setting for this cruise as it’s an adult-only ship. It also hosts a Champneys Spa, which is ideal to visit for a treatment and recover from the partying. You can find more information about the ship on our dedicated Marella 2020 cruise page.
Highlights
The official line-up for the Electric Sunsets: 90s vs 00s cruise is not out quite yet. But Marella (TUI) have promised big-name acts and DJs as well as retro films, parties and fancy dress.
In 2019 the Electric Sunsets: Cruise back to the 90s version had an impressive line-up. Artists included B’Witched, 5IVE, 911 and S Club Party with DJ sets from Judge Jules and DJ SASH! Films from the 90s were shown and it was nostalgia all round.
Why book this cruise
Well, the only thing I need to convince me is the fact that it’s an adult-only cruise. But of course there is lots more to the Electric Sunsets Cruises. If you like a little (or a lot) of party and enjoy music from the 90s and/or 00s you will definitely enjoy this cruise! It is a great opportunity to connect with like-minded people and enjoy a break.
Although it is a short cruise, it takes you to two beautiful ports: Amsterdam and Bruges. If you feel too hungover (I won’t judge you!) do even leave the ship, visit the Champneys spa to relax!
How to book
You can easily book your Electric Sunset cruise through the Marella (TUI) website. You can choose from different cabins and a standard all-inclusive package or premium all-inclusive.
