Cruises

A whopping 1.9 million Brits went on a cruise holiday last year, which makes for an all-time record. And with so many benefits of a cruise holiday, it is understandable that the number of ‘cruisers’ is higher than ever. There is a multitude of destinations, personalised cruise options and there are many great package deals available to save you some £££. You may think that a cruise is typical for a pensioners holiday, but nearly 50% of the cruise holiday makers is under 50! There are cruise ideas for everyone: from Disney cruises for the kids, to celebrity cruises or even golf cruises. Why not have a look on this page for cruise discount codes.

Adult only holiday

Holiday makers opt in for an adult only holiday from two points of view: they either have children and are taking a break from them, or don’t have children themselves and want to avoid being surrounded by others’ peoples little ones. More increasingly it is becoming an accepted view that it is okay to want to spend time without your children. Whether you are going on an adult only holiday on your own for some proper ‘me-time’, or taking your partner to enjoy quality time together, it is a great way to get your energy levels back.

Winter sun holiday

The winter is the perfect time to get away from the UK. Get your vitamin D level up by booking a holiday to a sunny destination. Think this has to be a long haul flight? Think again! How about Cape Verde, off the northwest coast of Africa and only a 6 hour flight, or Ayia Napa in Cyprus with only a 5 hour flight? These places are very sunny in the winter months and not on the opposite side of the world. On The Beach have a great selection of winter sun holidays, you can find out more about them through the On The Beach Contact Number.

LGBT holiday

When going on holiday, it is important that everyone feels safe and accepted. Are you going on a romantic same-sex holiday, a fun trip with your LGBT friends or on a family holiday and want to make sure there is security for everyone? There are some great destinations for a LGBT holiday. Malta has been voted the most LGBT-friendly place, and more recently the Canary Islands have got more popularity with the LGBT community too, due to their 10-day Pride event. And other places like Tel Aviv and Cyprus are definitely worth a visit as well. Looking for something less scorching hot? Berlin, Zurich and Amsterdam are fun for city-trips and these are very LGBT-friendly.

Short beach breaks

Got a couple of holiday days left over at work? Or just looking to get away for the weekend? Short breaks do not always have to revolve around city trips that are fun, but most of the time exhausting! Why not leave work for a peaceful, beach break and enjoy a few days of sunshine. The Mediterranean has countless beautiful destinations that are worth a visit for many reasons. It is a short flight, the temperature stays warm towards the winter months, and it does not have to be too expensive. Whether you choose for the Portuguese Algarve, one of the many ‘costas’ in Spain or fly a bit further to Greece – your next holiday will be short but very sweet!
