I always recommend this hotel first when family or friends are coming to stay. The Embankment itself is a gastropub, with locally brewed beers and delicious food. It&#8217;s the kind of place to spend your morning with a coffee, fresh breakfast and a bit of the paper! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rooms are boutique style, with high quality linen provided as well as a tv and toiletries. All the basics you would expect in a hotel room with a beautiful decor! You can even bring your dog in some of the hotelrooms and (well-behaved) dogs are allowed in the bar\/terrace too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-fill\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-black-color has-vivid-green-cyan-background-color has-text-color has-background\" href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/gb\/embankmenthotel.en.html?aid=1439806&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Book a room at The Embankment<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3>The Swan<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Swan is more on the luxury spectrum of hotels in Bedford. The hotel itself is super stylish and there is even a suite available if you want to treat yourself. Located by the river as well as right next to the town centre, you couldn&#8217;t get a better spot for this luxurious hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Swan restaurant is open from breakfast through to dinner (or evening drinks) and should you decide to dine here, you are in for a treat. The terrace (Pen &amp; Cob) is a great place to enjoy a cold drink on a sunny day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-black-color has-vivid-green-cyan-background-color has-text-color has-background\" href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/gb\/thebedfordswan.en.html?aid=1439806&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Book a room at The Swan Hotel<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3>Albero Rooms<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Albero Lounge is a cosy restaurant and bar right next to the river. Upstairs you will find 5 bedrooms, all with a king size bed and fascinating decor (I love the jungle room!). 4 of the rooms have a freestanding bath, ideal for relaxing after spending the day exploring Bedford.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the restaurant downstairs you will find a menu filled with crowd pleasers: burgers, tapas and lots more. A tasty breakfast is served in the morning and the terrace overlooks the river.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-black-color has-vivid-green-cyan-background-color has-text-color has-background\" href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/gb\/albero-bedrooms.en.html?aid=1439806&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Book a room at Albero<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3> Mercure Bedford centre<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re looking for something simple where you can have a warm shower and comfy bed, the Mercure is the perfect option. Rooms are what you&#8217;d expect from a hotel like Mercure: premium linen, a clean room and sleek design. The hotel features a bar and restaurant as well as a fitness centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The hotel is located in the town centre and overlooks the river, from the other side as the town. A quick crossing of the bridge will bring you directly onto the market square.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-black-color has-vivid-green-cyan-background-color has-text-color has-background\" href=\"https:\/\/www.booking.com\/hotel\/gb\/bedfordmoathouse.en.html?aid=1439806&amp;no_rooms=1&amp;group_adults=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Book a room at Mercure<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3>d&#8217;Parys<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>d&#8217;Parys is a quirky boutique hotel with 14 lovely rooms. The building is restored with its&#8217; orgininal features kept in tact, which gives the hotel a lot of character.  The hotel is located next to Bedford Park and about a 5 minute walk from the town centre. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Downstairs you will find a beautiful pub and restaurant, serving a tasty breakfast as well as a full dining menu. On a colder day you can enjoy a drink by the fireplace and get cosy.
