In 2017, the phenomenon of ‘sausage dog walks’ was big news. Hundreds of dog owners and lovers got together for a mass walk with the four-legged cuties. Unfortunately lots of sausage dog fans have missed out too. This is why at Breaks.com, we have compiled a list of sausage dog walks taking place all over the UK in 2019. Find your nearest location and make sure to participate and the cutest event of the year!

Hyde Park, London
There is a dachshund walk in Hyde Park, London that takes place regularly. So even if you missed out once you can still participate in the future! The meet ups are usually on a Sunday at 12pm. You can view the upcoming walks in the schedule here.
Alexandra Palace, London
This is the third walk taking place around Ally Pally in London. It will take place on Sunday 17 November from 3pm onwards.
Easton’s favourite sausage dog Binky will host the sausage dog walk at Easton Gardens on Bank Holiday Monday (26th August), from 4 to 6pm. A relaxed opportunity to meet dogs and their owners as well as a stroll around the gardens. This is a ticketed event: an adult ticket costs £5 and child ticket £3.50, these prices include entry to the 12-acre gardens, a cream tea for owners and a tasty treat for the dogs.
The Sausage Dog Club organises walks in and around Bath every first Saturday of the month. Join their Facebook group to get all the information needed here.
The sausage social dog walk in Shrewsbury will take place on Sunday 18 August from 11AM til about 12.30PM at the Quarry Park. Meet at the bandstand for a fun loop of the Quarry with your dachshund. Friends and fans welcome too!
West Wittering Beach
Bring your little sausage along to West Wittering Beach for possibly the last swim of the Summer. Taking place on Sunday 1 September from 11:00 onwards, this is sure to be a lovely afternoon out for your four-legged friend.
Even if you’re in Wales you don’t have to miss out on a social walk with your dog. The walking route is circular to Rhosybol, approximately a 4.5 mile walk. This walk is not exclusive to dachshunds, but luckily sausage dogs are small enough to carry if they get tired! The meet up is at 10am in the pub Y Ring and you are welcome to stay for a Sunday Carvery afterwards.
