The performance is approximately 100 minutes including the firework display. Give yourself time either side of the performance to make sure you have time to enjoy the full experience without rushing to take your seat in time or to be jumping up at the end!
Edinburgh Tattoo 2018 Fireworks
If you are looking for the best day to view the famous Edinburgh Tattoo fireworks then Saturday evenings (10:30pm) are the best option for you. On Saturday the 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th of August, there are extended firework displays as part of the ceremony. These specific events within the month-long event have a late-evening start and so are more aimed towards adults (or lucky children!). Booking will, of course, be essential as these are typically the most popular displays of the Tattoo.
Edinburgh Tattoo Seating Plan
There is not a bad seat at the Edinburgh Tattoo but it is always nice to know where the best places to sit are!
