The annual Winter Wonderland returns in November for its 16th year, located at the York Designer Outlet just a short ride out of the city centre. The award-winning event hosts a ginormous ice rink, measuring 975 square metres with a 30ft high twinkling Christmas tree in the centre.
What’s more, there is a winter trail leading to Santa’s grotto, where you will receive a special gift from Santa himself! For a bite to eat and a warming glass of mulled wine, visit the alpine après ski café next to the ice-rink to cosy up after your trip.
